About The Artist

Ward Tomlinson Elicker is an exceptional and highly accomplished figurative sculptor, designer, and artist specializing in museum quality Artwork. His work can be found domestically and internationally, in public and private installations and collections. He has over thirty-three years experience of working as a professional sculptor and foundry owner. He has built, designed, owned, and managed seven art foundries producing museum quality art for himself and other artist during his career.

Mr. Elicker has worked closely with the heads of multi-national corporations, top architects and designers, and some of the world’s leading artists. Over the years, he has employed and trained many people who have dedicated their lives to sculpting in the pursuit of an artistic career. He received his classical training at the renowned and prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts which was founded in 1805 and is the first and oldest art museum and art school in the United States. He draws from experiences of travels and extensive time spent throughout Indonesia, India, and Australia as a youngster, and again revisited as an adult. These experiences opened and cultivated his mind, and molded his artistic perspective, which is directly reflected in some of the art pieces he has produced. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy after living abroad, following the footsteps of his grandfather, RG. At Valley Forge, he was instilled with the discipline and dedication which helped propel him towards his dreams as an artist.

Mr. Elicker is currently working on his eighth and final foundry which is dedicated to producing his personal artwork with his partner Joel Asker. His artwork is available for purchase and he is open to commissions for original works of art.
